What is KASCON?

The annual Korean American Students Conference (KASCON) is the largest ethnic-specific students conference in the United States. Originating at Princeton University in 1987, KASCON at Pepperdine University will be its twenty-fourth year running and will be held from Friday, March 5th to Saturday, March 6th of 2010. KASCON hosts a number of speakers and guests so that students have the opportunity to network and engage with leading professionals from a diverse pool of fields including medicine, law, business, arts, entertainment, and non-profit organizations.

Who attends KASCON?
KASCON is open to any undergraduate student with an interest in Korean American issues and the expansion of the Korean American voice. KASCON 24 invites all students from across the United States as well as Canada and South Korea to come to Malibu in 2010!

KASCON’s Goal
The ultimate purpose of KASCON is to inspire and empower its participants so that they leave with the motivation to advance the Korean American community. Through networking events, workshops, and seminars that feature active leaders, KASCON offers its participants the opportunity to learn, interact, and broaden their perspective.
