Lodging for KASCON XXIV is the individual responsibility of participants to book. But to make your travels easier, our logistics managers have researched and compiled different options that we’d suggest.
Package A – Pepperdine Executive Center
(recommended for non-local students without cars and who prefer no public transportation)- Pepperdine shuttle service available to and from main campus (no personal transportation necessary)

**A straightaway bus line from Hotel Carmel to Pepperdine takes 30 minutes and costs $1.50 one-way. You can refer to Google Maps for bus schedules and routes.
Package C – Commute!
(recommended for locals with a place to stay nearby Pepperdine)With the rough economy, we would highly recommend any local students who want to save money to drive to Pepperdine for Friday afternoon and Saturday morning. Parking is free, plentiful, and safe. Also, it’d be a great way to get your car out to sunny Malibu, explore the area, and enjoy your stay in our city. The address to our campus is

Transportation
From LAX to Pepperdine/Pepperdine to LAX
- Shuttles: we suggest www.primetimeshuttle.com for reserving vans. It’s about $40 per person roundtrip and takes about 50 minutes to get to campus, depending on traffic. No limits on the number of people.
- Public transit (Metro): refer to Google Maps for directions from LAX to Pepperdine. Click public transit option for bus routes and time. About $5 per person one way and takes around 2-3 hours to get to campus. No limits on the number of people.
- Taxi: you can research and reserve your own taxis online. (Please be careful of gypsy cabs.) About $90-100 for a taxi one way. Takes about 45-50 minutes to get to campus, depending on traffic.
